Abstract
Many individuals in many different industries can have difficulties getting a good, accurate pH readings. While it is possible for the manufacturer to occasionally supply a product of questionable quality, the fact is not all difficult applications are caused by quality issues. Customers face other potential problem causers including, improper grounding, ground loops, stray voltages, incompatibility issues between the materials of construction of the electrodes, and the chemicals they are measuring, and improper electrode or electrode mounting selections.
