Abstract

Technology development is the key to the health of any industry, and water treatment is no different. Many observe that the water business moves ﾓglaciallyﾔ and slowly adopts or develops new technologies. While true in many ways, new treatment methods have emerged over the years. One feature of recent WATER EXECUTIVE Forums conferences has been Emerging Technologies sessions that feature presentations on water treatment technology developments. This will be the first of several articles that will briefly summarize presentations are recent conferences. This article will examine two presentations from the 2008 meeting, and one from the 2007 meeting.
