This article will summarize the Keynote address given at the 2007 ULTRAPURE WATER Semi conference, which was conducted in Austin, Texas. Speakers Walter Worth and Jan Holsbrink reviewed work by SEMATECH. Topics addressed included water cost, wastewater reduction, and microbial inhibition by copper and fluoride.
